5 Tips to Help you Grow Long Healthy Hair

  1. Don’t Cut it.

It seems obvious now, but when you hit that awkward phase, you will wanna cut it.

Just power through and have patience.

Growing your hair out can take anywhere from 6 to 18 months depending on the hairstyle you are going for.


  1. Massage your scalp.

Massaging your scalp helps in keeping your hair healthy.

When you massage your scalp, it stimulates the blood vessels, which in turn increases blood flow and in turn, leads to healthier hair.

Massage twice a day for 2 minutes each and you should be good.

  1. Wash your hair less often.

Washing your hair too often strips away the natural oils from your scalp, which can lead to a dry scalp.

So, don’t wash it too often. Experiment with the frequency of washing your hair.

Once or twice a week should be good.


  1. Avoid heat on your hair

Heat is a bad thing for your hair. Heat can even permanently damage your hair.

So, don’t apply too much heat to your hair. 

Use lukewarm water to wash your hair and, if you are using a hairdryer, use it with cool air.


  1. Be gentle with your hair

And finally, treat your hair with care.

Don’t brush your hair when it’s wet, as that is when your hair is at its weakest.

Don’t brush your hair too hard, while showering or brushing it.

Just don’t be harsh and you should be good to go.
